WorkshopsLook over the descriptions for the 24 Workshops ( A | B | C ) offered on Saturday, April 12, to start thinking about the ones you want to attend! Also included in registration is the pre-conference Social Justice Workshop on Friday afternoon, April 11. Business MeetingThe 45th Annual Meeting of the District will be held Saturday afternoon at the conference. Check out the Business Meeting area for information on the proposed budget and proposed slate of candidates — and how to register your congregation’s delegates. LocationThe host congregations, First and Second Unitarian Churches of Omaha, look forward to welcoming you at Embassy Suites Hotel in Downtown/Old Market, Omaha — in the heart of the historic dining and shopping district and downtown’s riverfront development! Plan now to extend your trip to include visits to the many Omaha Highlights. Registration and AccommodationsRegistration, both online and by mail, is now open. Early registration discounts apply. Don’t forget to order a conference T-Shirt on the Registration page! You may reserve a hotel room at our special group rate at the Embassy Suites Omaha - Downtown/Old Market. Home hospitality and roommate-matching are also available; look for those options on your conference registration form. A list of alternative hotels is available. Friday Night Keynote Only OptionIf you want to attend only the Friday night Keynote Address, email Nancy Amsler at nancyamsler@netzero.net with your name and contact information. (You will need to pick up your nametag at the hotel on Friday night.) There is no charge for attending only the Keynote Address, but a freewill donation in advance would be very much appreciated. Freewill donations should be mailed with a note stating that it is a donation for the Friday night program.
