Anderson Lodge, Camp UniStar

Camp UniStar Web site

Camp UniStar, on Star Island in Cass Lake in northern Minnesota, is owned by Prairie Star District, who runs it through the Camp UniStar Management Committee. The property was donated to the District by the Anderson family, who formerly lived there. The main building is named Anderson Lodge in their honor.

The camp operates from June to September. It offers:

• Work Weeks for volunteers to prepare and maintain the camp.
• Two Youth Week programs for grades 7 through 12, typically in late June.
• Several week-long family programs throughout July and August; each week focuses on a special-interest topic to augment the wide variety of natural activities available at the camp.
• Canoe trips in the Boundary Waters.
• Group retreats in September.
