For over 60 years, Unitarian Universalists gathered in Wisconsin to refresh their bodies and souls through fellowship, worship, workshops, and unique activities. This summer, we are excited to announce that we are moving our retreat to Trout Lodge in Potosi, Missouri, located 75 miles southwest of St. Louis. Trout Lodge is a beautiful family conference center set on 5,000 wooded acres, overlooking beautiful Sunnen Lake in the scenic Missouri Ozarks. There’s something for everyone at MUUSA!Join hundreds of other religious liberals for a week of new friends, new growth, and new adventures in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. We’ll build a community that nurtures everyone while enjoying swimming, sports, worship services, intriguing workshops, plus dancing, music and more. Children of all ages thrive during this special week, along with mature adults and everyone in between. This year’s morning celebrations will be led by the Rev. Jennifer Owen-O’Quill, senior pastor at Second Unitarian Church of Chicago and Dr. David Owen-O’Quill, founding pastor of Micah’s Porch, a new evangelical Unitarian Universalist church. David and Jennifer will invite you into the spiritual practice of testimony. What is testimony? The practice of testimony is often misunderstood and misused in our world today, but at its core, testimony is the wonderful and powerful practice of sharing with others the landscape of your faith journey. Please join us for a very special experience with a very special group of people. WebsiteThe MUUSA website is http://www.muusa.org . This has full information about the camp, including activities, programs, workshops, fees, and housing information. RegistrationThe registration brochure is available from a link at Dates for 2008
