The main purpose of the District’s Growth Program Area is to foster the growth of Unitarian Universalism within the District. We work as a team with Nancy Heege, District Executive, to nurture both established and new congregations to grow and thrive. The Growth Area focuses on four major areas:
Based on direction from the PSD Board (Nov 2003), our primary focus is on helping existing congregations with their own growth activities. Although the district does not mandate growth for congregations, it can help congregations that want to grow. We are also interested in helping congregations identify barriers to growth that they themselves may be creating. |
