Purpose: To arrange for speakers and workshop presenters, and choose the theme for each PSD Annual Conference.
Responsibilities include:
- Choosing the annual theme for the conference and arranging for keynote speaker(s), the Judy Lecturer, and workshop presenters;
- Establishing the conference budget; and has primary responsibility for publicity with help from the Local Arrangements Committee.
- Working closely with the Local Arrangements Committee.
Reports To: Annual Conference Program Coordinator.
Term: 3 year, renewable once. Begins July 1.
Geographic Location: Twin Cities area, northern Iowa, western Wisconsin.
Meeting: Conducts business in person and by email. Meetings held in Bloomington, MN.
Special Skills: Knowledge of UU resources, computer skills.
Other Pertinent Information: Attendance at Annual Conference is expected.
