Technology Advisory Committee

Purpose: To provide advice to the staff and Board on technology issues including District web presence.

Responsibilities include:

Providing technical advice to the District Web Coordinator (a part-time staff person) and the District Webmaster (a volunteer). This advice covers both aesthetic/wording as well as technical implementation.

Reports To: This committee is responsible to the Board.
Term: Three years, renewable. Begins July 1.
Geographic Location: District-wide.
Special Skills: Ideally, knowledge of web technologies, especially PHP.

Meeting: Approximately every 4–6 weeks at the district office, with members outside the Twin Cities participating via conference call. Thus, members can be located anywhere, assuming they are available for occasional telecons. Some work, principally providing aesthetic and technical opinions, is also done via email between meetings.
