Newsletter of Prairie Star District
Our newsletter is now distributed via email. The subscription list is maintained on a separate mailing server. If you are not already receiving the newsletter via email, you can subscribe by clicking the following link:
When you subscribe, the subscription becomes effective with the next newsletter mailed out. At the end of each mailing from this list there is an easy link to unsubscribe, should you wish to do so. The email addresses on this list are not shared with any other provider; your privacy is important to us. (This address list is maintained separate from the district’s own database, so if you change email addresses be sure to resubscribe to the newsletter here as well as letting the district know your new address.)
You can also view the current and archived issues of the newsletter through the links below.

About The Prairie Star
The Prairie Star is distributed via email at least three times a year when there is timely news to share.
The purpose of the newsletter is to share the news of the District among people and congregations and to inform and educate people about events and issues which may be of interest and importance.
We welcome news, comments and suggestions. We only publicize UU activities. We give first priority to publicizing activities that are sponsored by the District and second priority to those sponsored by the UUA or congregations if there is room and they are of regional interest. Appropriate newsletter submissions will be included in the next issue published depending on space available and timeliness.
The Prairie Star will be emailed to congregational leaders using email address lists supplied by the congregations, to persons who attend District activities, and to interested persons who subscribe. In addition it is published on our Web site. Printed copies will be mailed on request.
If you would like a subscription, click on the box at the top of the page. If you are a congregation leader, please make sure you are listed on your congregation’s page in the PSD Directory so that you receive all mailings appropriate to your position in addition to the newsletter.
If someone you know would like to receive The Prairie Star and does not have email access, please send a request with a name, mailing address, and congregational affiliation. Hard copies of the newsletter will be mailed. Subscriptions are free to members of Unitarian Universalist congregations in Prairie Star District.
