Co-Presenters: David Jackoway, recent president of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis, and Gary Jackoway, recent president of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Newark, Delaware
Presenter: Lori Emison Clair served as Membership Coordinator for First Unitarian Church of Des Moines, Iowa [a 2009 Breakthrough Congregation] for 6 years and, beginning in July, will take on additional responsibilities at the church as Director of Congregational Life. Her work has helped the congregation grow by 45 members (that’s a 13% increase) in the past three years.
Presenter: For over a decade Janet Hanson has been the director of religious education at the White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in Mahtomedi, Minnesota (a Breakthrough Congregation in 2005). During Janet’s tenure the religious education program there has grown tremendously. A longtime member of LREDA (Liberal Religious Educators Association), she offers a wealth of experience to this workshop.

Presenter: Shirley Lundin is a consultant to congregations and other non-profits on working with volunteers. She was a national consultant for the Girls Scouts of the USA; Coordinator of Volunteer Resources for Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust as well as coordinator, instructor and program developer for the Harper College Volunteer Management (now NPO management) certificate program.
Presenter: Patricia D'Auria has served as a consultant in the Central Midwest District since 2007. She is a member of UU Church West in Brookfield, WI, where she coordinates the Small Group Ministry Program, and has served in a variety of other leadership roles. Professionally, she is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with individuals, couples and families.
