Who Are Young Adults?
Young adults are those who are exiting the teenage experience but have not yet settled into adulthood. Of course, some people never “settle” into anything throughout life, and some are forced to grow up at a very early age. But in order to focus on people with shared experiences and challenges rather than including 65-year-old “young adults at heart”, C*UUYAN (and the Unitarian Universalist Association) define young adults as persons between the ages of 18 and 35.
Most young adult activities are flexible, so if you don’t quite fit into that age range, you may still be able to participate.
