Transition to MidAmerica Region
The final District vote took place on Saturday, April 27, 2013 and all three Districts have now voted YES to creating the MidAmerica Region. The MidAmerica Region will have its own governing board, replacing Prairie Star, Central Midwest and Heartland District Boards as of July 1, 2013. Your UUA Field Staff have not changed and will continue to serve you. To learn the latest news about the plans to form MidAmerica Region, read the Regionalization Updates .

Annual Conference 2013: Inspire the Future We Envision
April 5-7, 2013 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Video recordings are available of the major speakers, the business meeting, and the closing worship service. The Conference featured Rev. Stefan Jonasson as Keynote Speaker and Rev. Christine Robinson as Judy Lecturer.
The terrible fires in Colorado are consuming more homes this year even than last. Several UU families have lost their houses in Colorado Springs, and the Mountain Desert District has set up a relief fund for assistance. Please consider contributing to this fund.
