Sunday Worship – We will gather in the Figge’s atrium, surrounded by light streaming in from a wall of windows overlooking the Mississippi River. We will fill the hall with spirit and song!
Figge Tours – After the service, you will have the opportunity to visit the Figge’s collections, including works on loan from the University of Iowa, as an addition to your morning worship experience!

- John Deere Art Collection
- Sculpture, painting, drawings and prints, textiles, and artifacts. Artists include: Grant Wood, Alexander Calder, Toulouse Latrec Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, Fritz Scholder, and many others. This is a collection of over 1000 pieces on indefinite loan to the Figge by Deere & Co. (Opens April 24)
- Iowa City Museum of Art
- Modern/abstract art from 1900–1970 – rotating pieces exhibited in the permanent galleries. 4th floor gallery – “the masters – evolution of reproductive prints.” Over 12,000 pieces are being housed and exhibited by the Figge as Iowa City begins to rebuild after the flood.
- Decorative Arts of Frank Lloyd Wright
- Exhibited in permanent gallery – stained glass windows and doors, textiles, and furniture.
- Arthur Geisert – Country Roads ABC
- Current exhibition in print gallery. 26 etchings for his new children’s book written from his experience in Bernard, Iowa (pop.98).
